There are three ways to obtain this data. One is as an Open Data CSV file that is updated monthly and available for free after registration, in this dataset however you can only see the publicly available information about the companies. There is also a daily updated webservice where users pay 50 euro per 2000 queries. And there is a full xml catalogue, daily updated with more up-to-date information on the companies (current and stopped). For this you pay a license of 75000 euro per year.

National rail company (NMBS/ SNCB) has not made access to the data available.

However a 3rd party group iRail has made this data available for the general public, machine readable as well as in bulk, under an open license. Thanks to the European database law, public transit schedules are not copyrighted. Therefore the data is free for anyone to use, reuse and redistribute.

Structure of laws / law books could be improved: most legislation is available in HTML, but it misses semantic markup. Jurisprudence can be searched / viewed in a flash-based application.

Budget Online webpage provides access to recent budget data in pdf and xls formats.

It is possible to order maps at: http://ngi.be/NL/NL1.shtm but they are distributed either with FTP or on DVDs. For these purposes FTP is not regarded as being available on the Internet.

Reference specification, for the vector files for 1:10000, available at: http://ngi.be/Common/StandardDigitProd-Specs2013/Top10Vector_ProductSpecificatie_v1.1_NL.pdf mentions that the data version is 1.1 and that is from 2011.

Only aggregate tables per year are published on the statistical portal of the national bank of Belgium: http://www.nbb.be/belgostat/DataAccesLinker?Lang=N&Code=publfin but they indicate that the data exists.

There is no geospatial link for the postcodes. All that's available is the postcodes themselves with corresponding place names on the Belgian Postal Office (bpost) which is partially owned by the Belgian government (privatised public office).
